What To Expect

In order for us to address your situation as quickly as possible, it would be very helpful if you can gather the following information about your current hot water heater (most of this is typically listed on the water heater rating plate/label) before speaking to one of our customer service representatives.  If you can't access the water heater, we certainly understand as our field technicians can take care of this when they arrive at your location.

When you call our customer service center about your hot water heater, you will be speaking with a knowledgeable and courteous representative who understands your situation!  They will gather your information, discuss your options and even schedule an appointment with one of our qualified field technicians.

The field technician will call you 30 minutes prior to your confirmed appointment to make sure someone will be at home.  Upon arriving, he will immediately inspect your current water heater to assess your options and to ensure proper compliance to appropriate plumbing codes.  Then, he will provide you with a firm price quotation for your approval.  Most water heater installations will require two to four hours and after the work is complete, the field technician will confirm the quality and operation of your unit and will accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) or check.  In addition, your feedback is very important to us and you will be provided a postage-paid, self-addressed Customer Satisfaction Survey.

  • Installation by an authorized, licensed field technician
  • Same day installation of replacement storage water heaters available Monday - Saturday, if the order is placed with The Water Heater Experts before 12 noon
  • Same day or next-day installation of replacement storage water heaters for orders placed after 12 noon
  • Inspection of existing water heater and a firm, written quote before beginning any work
  • Delivery of new water heater
  • Drain and removal of old water heater
  • Installation of new water heater and on-site testing to ensure proper operation
  • Cleanup of work area including disposal of old water heater
